About Me
Hi, I'm Megan, a fine art painter and tutor, living in a quiet corner of England, on the edge of the North Pennines near Hamsterley Forest. Taking life one brushstroke at a time!
As a professional artist for over 30 years, I have dedicated the majority of my life to the brush and canvas. Between painting commissioned artworks and selling prints of my work, to exploring various media and tutoring small groups, my journey as a professional artist has been nothing short of fulfilling. Each moment has been a step towards perfecting my craft, which even after 30 years is still ongoing!
From galleries to prestigious shows and art fairs, I feel incredibly grateful and proud to see my paintings recognised and awarded for their detail and realism. My artworks have found their way into many homes over the years, and it's an incredible feeling to know that they're now cherished in collections all around the world.
​Twice a week I run The Seasons Art Class in Darlington, where I get to share my love and knowledge of art. We cover a wide range of drawing and painting techniques for complete beginners learning the basics to more experienced artists who want to improve. It’s wonderful to see everyone learning how to draw and paint to a good standard and watching their artistic skills develop. These arty days are just great fun each week!
